On this page we take you through a brief history of how Eden beauty came to be and how we pride ourselves on great service and the best products
How we started
Abi started up Eden Beauty in April 2014 and hasn’t looked back since! She has been in the industry since 2005 and has worked overseas in Australia and managed high end luxury hotel spas across the UK.
Abi has gained a wealth of qualifications over the years including from the prestigious Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy, CND nail academy, Nouveau Lashes, Elemis and Vitage/Skinbrands. She always takes an approach to continually improve service through constant learning and research.
Eden Beauty originally started in a small room in Tru Gym in Kirkstall. Unfortunately after. only a year in business the gym closed down leaving Abi with 2 weeks notice and no where else to go. After working from home visits and a small office for a couple of months, Abi finally found the perfect space in Charles Lewis Hair & Beauty.
The move to Charles Lewis
In November 2015 Eden Beauty moved to Charles Lewis on Kirkstall Road. This was a perfect spot to continue Abi’s services and was found to be much more suitable than her previous space, while keeping to the same area for her loyal clients.
After a busy Christmas period in 2015 she had a positive outlook and was excited for the future, until those fateful Boxing Day floods changed everything in the blink of an eye. As Eden Beauty worked from the basement of Charles Lewis, unfortunately everything was destroyed. The water levels had reached the ceiling and everything was lost, absolutely nothing could be salvaged.
After a torturous 7 months with no room to work from, a new beauty room was finally finished and was looking better than ever. In September 2015 Charles Lewis & Eden beauty were reborn with a full salon refurbishment and a fabulous open day that saw a great turn out of loyal clients and new faces too.
Her very own hair and beauty salon!
As with most beauty therapists, Abi had always dreamt of owning her own salon one day. The first few years of being self employed were always supposed to be a stepping stone to that end goal and she was always on the hunt for the right salon in the right location.
In July 2019 the perfect premises became available for this dream to become reality and at the beginning of August 2019 Abi picked up the keys and began decorating and kitting out her brand new hair and beauty salon and on the 3rd September Eden Hair and Beauty opened its doors.
Her vision was always to have somewhere ladies and gents could come to be pampered and have every hair and beauty need catered to under one roof. With a team of very experienced, talented and proffessional boss ladies around her this is exactly what she has achieved…..
